Eighth Annual Road Race and Walk

Come out to Yankee Field to participate in the Dublin Day 5K run and walk, and then enjoy the Annual Dublin Day festivities! There are many events and crafts for both kids and adults to enjoy.
The 5k race (3.1 miles) is a hometown event with sponsorship provided mostly by Dublin-based businesses. Yankee Publishing is our presenting sponsor. The race has a fun spirit, refreshments, and awards in every age group.
Be sure to pre-register and save! If you send in your application and fee by July 14, the fee for runners is $13 including a T-shirt. For Dublin residents, it’s $10 with T-shirt. For any runner under 18 years, there’s a special $5 option without T-shirt. If you wish to walk, it’s just $3 without T-shirt or $10 with T-shirt. If you don’t pre-register, the fee for everyone is $17 up to the day of the race.
Awards are given for overall winners by age group. Dublin age group winners are also recognized with gift certificates to Del Rossi’s Trattoria or Audry’s Café. In the past, some age groups did not even have a Dublin competitor, so you may have a decent chance! Either way, it’s a great event and accomplishment.

Please support the sponsors listed at the end of the application! Other sponsors who have not yet committed will be on display at the race and in the Advocate after the race.
If you do not feel up to running or walking, we are in need of volunteers the day of the race. These jobs do not require special talents, mostly take just an hour or so, and leave you to enjoy Dublin Day afterwards. If you can help, please notify Margaret Blackburn at 563-8829.
