Present: Chairman Bruce Simpson, Suzan Macy, Bill Goodwin, Dave Whitney and Charles Champagne
The board welcomed new member Dave Whitney.
Dublin General Store
The Board reviewed the revised map brought in by Andy Freeman and agreed that it met the requirements that the Board had voted on at the last meeting. Bruce will inform the CEO that the Board is OK with issuance of the building permit.
Workforce Housing Law
Bruce and Bill discussed the mandates of the new workforce housing law, which requires an analysis of the town’s housing stock and provision in the zoning ordinance which allow workforce housing on the majority of all the land in the town available for residential use. Amendments will have to be drafted for next year’s town meeting. Bruce will gather more information about the law, and look into getting assistance from SWRPC or other agencies in dealing with this issue.
April 16 Meeting
The Board authorized the Chair to cancel the April 16 meeting if there were no agenda items. He will try to email materials related to the Workforce Housing law to members for study prior to further discussion of the issue at the May 7 meeting.
