Pets and NH Animal Control Laws
Love your pets:~
Be sure you get them vaccinated, and keep their licenses up-to-date.
Dog Licenses
To register your dog, you must see the Dublin Town Clerk located at the Dublin Town Hall, 1120 Main Street, Dublin, NH. Licensing fees are $9.00 for a male or female dog, $6.50 for a neutered or spayed dog and $2.00 for any dog if the owner is over 65 years of age.
Is it a law that pets be vaccinated?
NH RSA 436:100 requires every dog, cat and ferret three months of age and older to be vaccinated against rabies.~Revaccination should be yearly or every third year; consult your veterinarian for exact times.
If my animal is lost what should I do?
Please notify us at the Dublin Police Department (603)-563-8411 and give any available information you may have such as license number, breed and color of animal. Also any identifying marks on your pet such as color of dog collar. The Dublin Police Department uses the services of the Monadnock Humane Society Shelter to secure animals that we cannot find the proper home for. You can reach the Monadnock Humane Society Shelter at 603-352-9011.
Animal Bites
Please notify the Dublin Police Department (603)-563-8411 of any animal bites so that a report can be filed. All animal bites are required by law to be reported so that the animal in question can be monitored or quarantined if necessary.
