Free Smoke Alarm, Installation and Safety Check
On average 7 PEOPLE die every day from a home fire. Did you know that if a fire starts in your home, you may have just two minutes to escape? Make sure you and your family are alerted as soon as a fire is detected. The Dublin Fire Department is able to offer FREE smoke alarm installation and a FREE home safety check to Dublin residents.
At no cost to you, we would like to demonstrate some simple changes in the home that will help you protect your family against fire. In addition, install a FREE smoke alarm within your home.
Homes scheduled for Smoke Alarm Installations will receive:
- Installed smoke alarms
- Guidance in the development of a Family Disaster Plan.
- Valuable Emergency Preparedness tips and information
If you know of someone that needs a smoke detector, and they are either financially or physically unable to purchase one for their home, please let the Fire Department know by calling (603) 563-8137.
The Department would be glad to provide this essential life-saving device. This program is made possible by FEMA, through the Fire Act Grant and our dispatch center, Southwestern New Hampshire Fire Mutual Aid.
